Nidec Drives is seeking an experienced production worker to operate CNC and manual lathes on the third shift. You will read blueprints and adjust machines to meet precise specifications, with a focus on quality and safety. A high school diploma or GED and machining certification are preferred.

The role requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team setting, with physical requirements as outlined by the employer.

Job Summary Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
