Job summary

Wieland in Duncansville, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate equipment, monitor performance, and inspect products to meet quality standards. The role is on-site with 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) and 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am); training on 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm) for 2–4 weeks.

Starting pay ranges from $19.44 to $20.61 per hour during training, then $24.28 to $25.79 per hour depending on department and position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major malfunctions.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Able to work various overtime as business needs require.
• Crosstrain in other areas as needed.
