Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is a leading bottling and distribution company serving a broad portfolio of beverage brands. As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor production lines, set up machinery, and maintain quality control while ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will work a Thu-Sat schedule with additional Wednesdays as needed, and you will be expected to lift up to 50 pounds, learn full equipment operation, and participate in pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Forklift certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials during production
  • Set up machinery ensuring materials are ready to be used
  • Visually inspect production run and document quality
  • Determine and report malfunctions and safety hazards
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and area
  • Attend meetings and assist with special projects

Schedule: Thu-Sat + every other Wed, 4:45 PM-5:00 AM (Overtime and weekends required based on business need)

What Does a Machine Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Our Machine Operators are responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed through production shift
  • Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available and ready to be used to produce
  • Visually inspect production run and document results. Confirming quality of product throughout production
  • Determine and report malfunctions to supervisor or manager to safety hazards and product defects
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area to maintain safety and performance standards
  • Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required or equivalent degree/certificate required
  • Forklift Certification within 30 days from hire required
  • Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
