Join Lantech as a 1st Shift Machine Operator (SAW) in our CLIMATE CONTROLLED facility. We offer a 4-day work week with overtime opportunity, quarterly profitability bonuses, and TONS of opportunity for advancement. Our Machine Operators START at $20.50/hr

1st Shift: Mon - Thu, 5:00am - 3:30pm

Here's a Glimpse At What You'll Do

As Machine Tool Operator SAW at Lantech you will:

• Be running the horizontal band saw and cutting material to specific length.
• Use a drill press to drill and tap holes to designated size.
• Follow standardized work to ensure safety, quality and productivity goals are met.
• Be standing 9-10 hours per day.
• Occasionally be lifting loads up to 50 lbs.
• Be willing/able to work overtime to complete project and/or meet scheduling deadlines.
  
  

What are we Looking For? (Requirements)

We Are Look For Someone Who

• Is able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Is capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs.
• Is willing/able to work overtime to complete project and/or meet scheduling deadlines.
• Is detail-oriented and be able to work effectively within the fast-paced production environment that is described above.
• Is willing and able to train to operate a Raymond fork truck to move steel.
• Is customer focused with a strong commitment to the production schedule.
• Has proven experience using band saw and drill press (strongly preferred).
• Bring some mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation experience.
• Has high school diploma or equivalent. Additional training from vocational or trade school is a plus.
• Is authorized to work in the U.S.
