Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a machine operator to run and maintain production line equipment at our facility. You will troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues, perform line changeovers, and help ensure products meet quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of operator experience (3+ preferred), and strong attention to safety. Shifts are 12-hour rotating swing shifts from 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM, with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical/mechanical coursework preferred.
• 1-2 years of machine operator experience in manufacturing ideal; 3+ years highly preferred.
• Resume required; ability to troubleshoot and read technical manuals/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery efficiently, maintaining start-ups and run times.
• Perform line changeovers following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair jams or failures.
• Identify quality issues and collaborate to meet standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order replacements as needed.
• Assist with improvement projects and equipment installations with engineering.
• Follow safety procedures and document maintenance work.
