Job summary

Schaeffler in the United States is seeking a manufacturing operator to support production on multiple lines. You will prepare machines by tooling and parametrization and monitor status, responding to deviations to keep the process on track.

Inspect parts for quality, discard defects, and assist maintenance to prevent downtime while following all safety rules and using PPE. The role offers growth opportunities in a global engineering company with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information
• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
