The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing, and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte, NC. This facility employs over 400 full-time associates in a 5-shift operation, covering 235,000 sq ft, with 12,000 SKUs. **Job Description**

The Punch and Pack Operator runs an automated system that punches and packages sandpaper discs, under the supervision of the Punch and Pack Specialist III. Responsibilities include changeovers, loading materials, quality checks, and maintaining process flow. The operator also supports the packaging portion of the machine and is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a positive work environment, and cross-train to step in as the Specialist III during absences.

**Additional Responsibilities**

• Assist in loading sandpaper rolls onto the machine
• Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist
• Support machine setup and startup
• Make adjustments and troubleshoot machine issues
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality standards
• Maintain machine cleanliness and organize tools (5S)
• Adhere to safety procedures
• Operate the feeding system with clamp beams on an idle conveyor, which is motorized
• Use the touchscreen to set material width and save machine setup recipes for different configurations
