Machine Operator Production - Gatorade (New)

Position Overview

This role involves operating one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, including handling raw materials, filling, capping, sealing, labeling, or packaging products. Responsibilities include removing damaged products, managing production and flavor changeovers, maintaining inspection processes, troubleshooting minor issues, and ensuring equipment efficiency.

Physical Requirements

Requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly. The role involves walking, standing, and may include stooping, crawling, and crouching over conveyors. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Operate and monitor production lines for efficiency
  2. Manage materials and finished products for proper flow
  3. Ensure product and package quality
  4. Perform preventative maintenance
  5. Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
  6. Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping
  7. Coordinate repairs with maintenance team
  8. Record downtime and machine operations
  9. Work collaboratively in a team environment
  10. Maintain reliable attendance
Basic Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
Helpful Experience
  • Experience with high-speed production lines
  • Experience operating forklifts, packing machines, filler machines, palletizers
  • Ability to read blueprints and schedules
  • Familiarity with manufacturing computers and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of sanitization and GMP practices
  • Experience with mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
