Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Machine Operator for a Calhoun, GA facility. The role involves preparing materials, mixing and filling products, operating forklifts, and assisting with shipping and receiving while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency.

This is a full-time position, temporary to hire, with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Benefits and a referral bonus are available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is required.
• Manufacturing/production or material-handling experience preferred with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and execute daily batch production assignments following batch card specs.
• Stage, verify, weigh, and blend raw materials with inventory and quality control coordination.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport materials and products.
• Maintain production equipment and work areas through cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE to promote a safe manufacturing environment.
