Machine Operator/Processing - 2nd Shift - South Hutchinson, KS

Job Details:

This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage.

This position has a starting base rate pay of $20.45 per hour with an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate machinery to ensure continuous product flow and proper ingredient use.
2. Monitor and adjust machine settings; notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
3. Learn and use the EIM System and handheld scanners.
4. Wear PPE including steel-toed shoes, bump cap, and hearing protection.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull 80 lbs. film in cart.
• Handle tasks involving torso flexion, arm extension, and bilateral hand grasp.
• Stand throughout shifts.
• Work in temperatures between 38 and 50 degrees, sometimes wet conditions.

Qualifications:

At least 3 months of documented operator experience. Previous Tyson employment requires a minimum rehire wait of 180 days and limited to 3 re-employments.
