Job summary

MCC is seeking a Finishing Machine Operator in Provo, Utah, to join our manufacturing team on multiple shifts. You will perform final finishing steps on rolls, ensuring quality, durability, and appearance of finished products.

Responsibilities include checking quality, splicing rolls, recording data in Globetek, and supporting special projects. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and familiarity with standard printing defects.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma with related printing experience preferred.
• Standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

We are currently looking for a Finishing Machine Operator (for multiple shifts) to join our team. This critical role is responsible for completing the final stages of manufacturing or production by applying the last layer of treatment, coating, or adjustment to a product. This role ensures the finished item meets quality standards, durability requirements, and aesthetic specifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous eye concentration.
