Job description

Packaging Machine Operator
Shift: 2nd, (12:30pm-8:30pm)
Pay: $17.50 - $25/hr (DOE)

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the food or related industries (chemical, pharma, etc.) and be able to operate packaging equipment while ensuring smooth and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor packaging machinery to ensure continuous production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and make necessary adjustments to machinery.
  • Inspect incoming packaging materials and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks such as seal integrity, weight control, metal detection, and label print quality.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as necessary, including performing changeovers for different package sizes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
