Job summary

SPECIALIZED PACKAGING SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a Machine Operator in Sidney, OH to operate complex machinery safely and efficiently for production runs. The role includes setup, calibration, quality checks, and adherence to safety protocols in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required overtime.
• Ability to effectively self-manage time and service multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate the assigned machine for production runs, including setting up, calibrating, and adjusting machine settings.
• Load and unload materials into the machine, such as lumber, corrugated, and/or foam.
• Identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues during production.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Perform and document quality checks to ensure the finished product meets print requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and report issues to supervisor.
