Responsibilities

Purpose:

As a Machine Operator in the Sioux Falls production plant, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and adjusting manufacturing equipment to produce quality plastic film and bag products in a safe working environment. You will report to the Section Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow and support all Company safety, GMP, and HACCP policies
  • Adjust a variety of equipment in a timely manner to maximize yields
  • Make minor repairs and aid in troubleshooting
  • Perform required quality checks and understand quality standards
  • Assist in packing as needed
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Three to six months experience working in a manufacturing-related field
  • Understanding of air rings and extruders
  • Ability to train new employees
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to read and understand work orders
  • Ability to work independently
Pay:

From $19.00/hr
