Description

This position is a 10-hour shift from Monday through Thursday on 2nd shift (3pm - 1:30am).

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills/experiences:

• CNC experienced for at least a couple of years
• Potential to advance into a machinist position
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, off-sets, touch-offs, height gauges, depth and ID micrometers, slant gauges
• Excellent work history
• Translate into machine set-up
• Move machine control to adjust machine
• Operate machine tools such as lathes and milling machines
• Set up machine tools
• Set up and operate another machine tool during machining cycles
• Set or reset machine to required machining sequence to produce parts within tolerance
• Clean machine, tooling, and parts
• Set up and operate equipment necessary to machine component parts
• Inspect parts as they exit the machine
• Read and interpret machine drawing specifications
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and maximize capabilities
• Start machine and monitor cutting operations
• Sharpen tools and set up tooling
• Fabricate parts according to blueprints
• Set up and operate CNC machines by programming control instructions
• Select appropriate tooling and fixtures
• Determine the accuracy of machine operations
• Operate additional machine tools during tape-controlled cycles
• Produce parts within required tolerances

Qualifications

Education: High School or Equivalent (required)

Experience: 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred (required)
