Randstad USA is seeking a production operator in Glendale, Wisconsin, for an evening shift. You will set up machines, feed materials, monitor cycles, and perform in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet specs.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating equipment, and performing basic maintenance. The position runs 06:00 PM to 06:00 AM and emphasizes safety, proper dress, and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup: efficiently execute setups and tooling changeovers on production machines (e.g., stamping, assembly, injection molding, etc.) according to job specifications and procedural guidelines.
• Operation and monitoring: competently operate production machinery, feeding materials and monitoring machine cycles, speeds, and temperatures to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve basic machine faults, jams, or process deviations during the production run to minimize downtime.
• Quality control: perform routine in-process inspections using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) to ensure all components meet established quality standards and tolerances.
• Maintenance support: conduct basic preventative maintenance and machine cleaning to keep equipment running smoothly throughout the shift.
