Job summary

IPEX is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Molding Operator to join our manufacturing team in Pineville, NC. You will operate molding presses and related equipment to maintain product quality and meet production goals.

This full-time role requires reading work instructions, following procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while adhering to EHS policies. Night shift available with 4 days on, 4 days off, and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Forklift experience or the ability to become forklift certified.

Job description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Molding Operator to join our manufacturing team in Pineville, NC.

Pay: $23.97 per hour

Shift: Night Shift, 6:00pm-6:30am, 4 days on, 4 days off

Key Responsibilities

Production & Equipment Operation

• Operate molding presses and associated equipment, including hoppers, material loaders, and regrind loaders.
• Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Follow established work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Support daily production goals and maintain required productivity levels.
• Assist with corrective actions for production or quality concerns as needed.

Quality Control

• Perform product inspections using: Plug gauges Go/No-Go gauges ID thread gauges OD thread gauges Complete ISO Quality Checklists accurately and on time.
• Identify, remove, segregate, and report scrap materials.
• Report non-conformances and assist with quality improvement efforts.
• Apply operator identification labels according to company requirements.

Packaging & Material Handling

• Package finished goods according to established box, case, pallet, and labeling standards.
• Verify correct pallet configurations and packaging requirements.
• Support the proper storage and identification of materials and regrind products.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents, and equipment defects immediately.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
