Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to work night shifts from 7pm to 7am at our Westlake facility. The successful candidate will operate thermoformers, perform quality checks, and ensure safe and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

1. Operate all six Thermoformers independently, recognizing and troubleshooting issues.
2. Start up and shut down machines, perform adjustments, and monitor operations.
3. Conduct quality checks and ensure proper packaging of products.
4. Complete required documentation accurately, including first piece inspections and production logs.
5. Report machine malfunctions and safety hazards promptly.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
7. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
8. Assist with roll changes and other routine maintenance tasks.

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Stand for 100% of the shift, with walking, reaching, and handling tasks as specified.
• Lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Maintain visual and physical ability to perform job duties safely.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• Powered Industrial Truck and Lockout/Tagout certifications (training provided).
• Ability to interpret instructions and troubleshoot equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

Manufacturing and warehouse setting with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, airborne particles, and moving machinery.
