This role offers 12-hour shifts with potential overtime, as needed. The selected individual will be assigned to NIGHT shift:

• Shift 3 - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and alternating Wednesdays from 6:45PM to 7:00AM.

What you'll do

The Machine Operator operates machinery and production equipment of laundry packaging lines to ensure the production of high-quality consumer finished goods. This person must work as a team member, staying involved in activities to improve team performance, and be responsible for operating packaging line equipment and minimizing production interruptions.

• Operate machines and production equipment safely, following instructions.
• Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
• Monitor output quality to identify or discard faulty products.
• Perform quality checks, understand documentation requirements, and record-keeping procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Clean and inspect equipment per department procedures.
• Enter quality data into the Downtime Database.
• Navigate control screens, including run, set-up, jog, machine faults, mode changes, homing, and production values adjustments.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust packaging line equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, such as clearing jams, checking sensors, and cleaning eyes.
• Identify and resolve operational and material issues.
• Address critical quality issues and pursue corrective actions.
• Perform basic to intermediate mechanical activities.
• Participate in shift turnover discussions and team meetings.

This role offers a $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS. The hourly range is $22.52 - $27.52. This range is used in good faith for wage setting; actual pay may vary. The salary range may be adjusted in the future.
