Job summary

Vestcom is a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, operating in the packaging and labeling space. This C Shift role runs Sunday to Tuesday from 6pm–6am and Wednesday from 6pm–12am, requiring reliable attendance and attention to detail across production processes.

Join a team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and safe operations in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, problem solving, and willingness to support colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to analyze equipment performance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
• Color vision proficiency to distinguish product variations.

Responsibilities

• Operate label machines to meet daily production deadlines while minimizing material waste.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain logs of raw materials using the ERP system and ensure quality control.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and collaborate with the production team.

This role will be C Shift, Sunday - Tuesday 6pm-6am, Wednesday 6pm-12am.

What You’ll Do

• Performance & Accuracy: Operate label machines efficiently to meet daily production deadlines while minimizing material waste.


• Technical Ownership: Use your mechanical aptitude to monitor equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and identify root causes rather than \"band-aid\" fixes.


• Data & Quality: Maintain accurate logs of raw materials using our ERP system and ensure a \"zero-defect\" mindset through close attention to detail.


• Safety & Collaboration: Maintain a clean, safe work area and collaborate with the production team to ensure overall site health.
