What Do We Do Here?

Our Conroe Facility produces downhole products for drilling activities in North America. Our plant has high demand and is operating 24/7 to produce these products for our customers. To meet the demand for our products, we provide employees with an air-conditioned environment, highly organized and clean 300,000 SQ. ft. fabrication facility, new CNC Machines (Mazak, Mori Sieke, DMG Mori, Weiler, etc.), and a strong safety program designed to ensure our team goes home safe to their families after every shift.

What's the Job Like?

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
  • Inspect machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
  • Determine and correct more complex machine malfunctions.
  • Performs routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • May make calculations as well as assist with numeric controlled programming.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and guidelines.
  • Adhere to all Company policies.
  • Follow all applicable company and corporate polies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs, including but not limited to quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Attend work per work schedule.
  • Possess all tools required for the position within 90 days of employment.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • 2+ years of experience in a machine shop/manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Experience with reading part drawings/blueprints preferred.
  • Must be able to work a 40-hour week with up to 20 hours overtime if needed to meet operational needs.
  • Flexibility in work hours to meet operational shift changes and needs.
  • Able to work weekends.
  • Timely decision making.
  • Follow work instructions as outlined.
  • Ability to take instructions without taking offense.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team for a common goal.
  • Dependable attendance is a must and a requirement for the job.
