Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator for the night shift (6p-6a). You will set up and operate production machinery, perform safety checks, and adjust equipment to meet product specs in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior machining and manufacturing experience, with strong teamwork and a safety-first mindset. The role offers generous benefits, ESOP, 401k, and growth opportunities within a dynamic pet-food manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience operating machinery.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP/PLC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate several production machine tools throughout the production process.
• Learn and operate assigned machinery within the manufacturing plant.
• Perform safety checks throughout shift.
• Adjust machine components according to finished product specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems during operations and adjust machine in case of malfunctions or jams.
• Clean machine and assist in performing preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a safety and quality mindset, following all safety and quality policies and procedures.

Night shift (6p-6a)

$21+ per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.)

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience with operating machinery
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience working with an ERP system, within a food or pet food manufacturing facility, and/or working with PLC interfaces is preferred but not required
• Ability to constantly stand, walk, reach with hands and stooping/kneeling
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Strong teamwork mentality and eager to work in a team environment

$21+ per hour
