Position Details
  • Shifts: Sun-Tue nights 5pm-5am or Wed-Fri 5pm-5am
  • Training on different shift/schedule for a month prior to transfer
  • Pay: $22.00/hr to start + 75 cents night differential
  • Location: Wilsonville, OR cable plant
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week, full benefits
  • Additional benefits: annual bonus, 5% 401(k) match, 7% profit sharing, paid holidays, vacation/PTO, healthcare, dental, vision, tuition assistance

Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment and tooling, set up and run jobs for customer orders
  • Maintain quality and on-time delivery standards
  • Manage job inventory and complete paperwork
  • Follow safety procedures and keep work area organized
  • Troubleshoot quality problems and perform maintenance requests
  • Follow process sheets, prints, work instructions, and special instructions
  • Handle extrusion processes involving high temperatures up to 1000°F
Requirements
  • Good computer entry skills, manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, schematics, and perform basic math
  • Physical ability to stand, walk for 12 hours, lift up to 40 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cable manufacturing or similar processes
  • High school diploma or GED; technical degree/certificate a plus
