Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join our MFG TEAM and operate the glaze line while inspecting tiles in the ceramic tile manufacturing process. The role requires standing, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Training on equipment and safety protocols will be provided. The successful candidate will monitor equipment, conduct QC checks, and work with the team to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates the glaze line and inspects tile.
• Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile meets specifications.
• Monitors glaze line equipment and reports problems to supervisor.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
• Follows operating procedures and keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM.
• Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

Primary Objective:

Operates the glaze line and inspects tile.

Major Function and Scope:

• Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
• Follows operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing/production experiencepreferred.
