A Day In The Life

Operates mold machine process to produce quality parts at the productivity rate that meets customer specifications, following Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles and current Quality System standards.

Produce quality mold parts using various molding processes. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments on mold machine equipment. Perform 100% trim and inspection, and identify and segregate scrap. Complete daily paperwork, including Hr x Hr charts, counting, and packaging parts. Maintain safety, quality, production, and 5S housekeeping standards.

  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments to mold machinery.
  • Perform 100% trim and inspection, and segregate scrap.
  • Complete daily paperwork, including Hr x Hr charts, counting, and packaging parts.
  • Maintain safety, quality, production, and 5S standards.
  • Basic math and computer skills required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Frequent carrying of items up to 44 pounds.
  • Constant walking and standing.
