Shift hours: 5am - 3:30pm (1st Shift). Currently working up to 6 days a week.

Machine Operator – Metals Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and reliable Machine Operators for the 1st Shift to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure the efficient and safe production of goods. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of machine operations, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Essential Functions

Follow verbal and written instructions.
Inspect for defects, reporting any findings to appropriate personnel.
Run required reports.
Packing.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Required Experience

Ability to learn other line jobs to serve as a utility person for breaks and lunch.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Experience with or ability to do intricate hand assembly on a fast paced assembly line.
Possess good eye‑hand coordination for assembly purposes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Prolonged standing as required during press and assembly operations.
Ability to reach into a press with both hands to remove product.
Ability to stoop, bend, twist or turn to move product from press and/or assembly areas to other plant locations.
Required lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
Ability to read applicable instructions.
Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Work environment is NOT temperature controlled.
