Position Summary

Perform a variety of machining re-work operations, including rework and facing operations after bending parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up snow machines and related secondary equipment to perform machining functions.
• Ensure the quality of their work pieces.
• Set up, adjust, and operate turret lathe machines on various parts.
• Operate nut checking equipment following work instructions.
• Set up, adjust, and operate secondary machining equipment.
• Read blueprints, operation sheets, or specifications to select tools and controls.
• Operate and clean parts washer.
• Perform rework and facing operations after bending.
• Check produced parts, maintain tool and machine adjustments, and sharpen/reset tools as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Machine operating experience preferred.
• Good math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
