Position: Machine Operator

POSITION SUMMARY

PSI Container, located in McAdoo, PA, is a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes and we are seeking Machine Operators to join our team. Machine Operators set up and operate the machines safely to produce our specialty products. These are Full Time, 1st shift positions that do not require the ability to work rotating shifts. Core schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday 6:00am to 10:00am and includes the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure the safe operation of all machinery and adhere to all safety rules and initiatives.
2. Oversee machine operations to ensure minimal downtime and excellent finished product quality.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues that happen.
4. Maintain proper documentation and machine entries for each job.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Safety first mentality.

3. Basic knowledge of industrial machinery.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

6. Ability to read a tape measure.
7. Above average organizational skills and detail orientation.
8. Ability to enter product specifications into the computers.
9. Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds, standing for the majority of the shift.
10. Strong troubleshooting experience.
11. Basic math skills required (fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).

Starting pay range is $18.50 to $19.50 with opportunity for overtime dependent upon business needs.
