Le Sueur Incorporated is seeking a 3rd shift machinist to operate and program various machines, ensuring quality and throughput. Training will be provided for up to six weeks on the 1st shift to acclimate the candidate to processes and standards.
Under supervision, you will learn all aspects of machining, including machine operation, programming, and peripheral equipment. You will inspect aluminum castings and machined parts for quality and compliance with work instructions.
3rd Shift: 11pm -7:30am Sunday - Friday with OT as required
Training for up to 6 weeks on 1st shift.
Under supervision, operate machining equipment safely and effectively, ensuring optimal production flow and product quality while learning all aspects of machining, including the operation and programming of various machines and peripheral equipment.
Inspect aluminum castings and machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and applicable work instructions.
May perform other machining-related production duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: Reading and understanding English language work instructions and some computer use
Preferred Education: Some trade school or equivalent
Minimum Skills/Experience:Effective computer experience, independent decision-making, and effective self-management. One or more years of relevant work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: One to three or more years of relevant experience. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, plus Strong mechanical aptitude and proven machine operations and/or mechanical aptitude, effective computer use, basic Math skills, independent decision-making, and effective self-management.
