Job summary

Atkore is seeking a 2nd shift LTC Operator to operate and adjust machinery, read Standard Work, and ensure quality under late-evening hours. The role reports to the shift supervisor and offers a $25.31/hr base pay plus a $1.00 shift differential in New Bedford, MA.

You will work in a metal forming environment with safety and teamwork at the core. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 70 lbs, and good English comprehension.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment with loud noises, smells, and/or extreme temperatures at times.
• Must have the ability to lift to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, sit, and stand without assistance.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Must have the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to follow directions and complete work in a safe and efficient manner while producing a quality product.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for 2nd Shift LTC operators (4:00 PM- Midnight) reporting to the shift supervisor. The metal forming LTC operator will be responsible for operating machines/sets of machines, which includes setup, operation, inspection, and adjustments of machinery. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing simple or routine set-ups, following processes, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

As of the date of this posting, a good‑faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $25.31/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs, and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but is not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
