This role is responsible for operating various types of machinery as assigned by leadership.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Set up assigned equipment daily according to the production schedule and product specifications. Disassemble for sanitation at day's end.
  2. Monitor equipment: troubleshoot basic malfunctions, notify supervision and maintenance for significant issues.
  3. Record data, make adjustments as needed, and calibrate systems for time, temperature, and equipment positions.
  4. Use measuring devices, interpret temperatures, and record product parameters.
  5. Work with maintenance to establish preventative maintenance and best practices.
  6. Report unusual or out-of-spec operations to management.
  7. Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with policies.
  8. Take ownership of equipment and machinery.
  9. Follow safety procedures and organizational policies.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
  • 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to understand verbal instructions and follow recipes.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement units and reading specifications or schematics.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing plant setting with noise, temperature extremes, and moving equipment.
  • Typical food manufacturing conditions.
  • No domestic travel required.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for over 4 hours.
