Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a production-oriented team member in Fayetteville, NC. Shift is 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with base pay starting at $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

You will work with metal fabrication equipment, perform material handling, and support quality and safety standards. Candidates should have at least 2 years of production experience, preferably in metals/materials, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years production experience, preferably in metals/materials industry.
• Execute assignments as given by supervision.
• Inform supervision of equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns.
• Follow all work instructions, policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Train other team members as assigned.
• Participate in daily housekeeping and cleanup efforts.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Read and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets.
• Perform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictates.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds continuously.

• Basic math, reasoning, problem solving and computer skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years production experience, preferably in the metals/materials industry
• Execute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group Leader
• Immediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
• Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
• Training other team members as assigned
• Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
• Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts
• Read and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as required
• Perform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assigned
• Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictate
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
