Job Summary

As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for ensuring the efficiency and output of work orders assigned to your machine, meeting or exceeding quality and packaging standards per customer specifications.

Responsibilities

1. Adhere to Oxco's core values of Caring, Creativity, Determination, Dependability, and Teamwork.
2. Perform quality control inspections to meet standards.
3. Process customer-specific details on work orders, such as length, width, core size, splices, OD parameters, and other requirements.
4. Set up machines for production cycles properly.
5. Package materials according to specifications, including wrapping, pallet size/type, quantity, and orientation.
6. Work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
7. Accurately record time, consumption, output, and quality notes using systems or paperwork.
8. Report issues or concerns to supervisors or management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred 1 year experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective collaboration skills.
• Dependability with consistent attendance.

This role requires standing and walking most of the shift, reaching, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds with assistance, and effective communication for accurate documentation.

Training

Availability to train on first shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F).
