Job summary

Accelevation LLC, based in Miamisburg, OH, is seeking a Laser- Salvagnini 2nd Shift Machine Operator to drive the first critical steps in fabricating remote power panels.

You will set up, operate, and monitor Salvagnini laser equipment to convert steel into precision components, performing inspections and assisting with material handling in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operator experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment.
• Able to lift heavy material and work with your hands.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machines to cut and shape metal components with precision and efficiency.
• Utilize industrial machinery to cut, form, and prepare materials to exact specifications for downstream assembly.
• Safely load, unload, and position large-format metal sheets using forklifts or overhead cranes to maintain smooth production flow.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify parts meet drawings and data center power requirements.
• De-tab, sort, and stage finished components by job number to support assembly operations and workflow continuity.
• Conduct routine machine checks, including nozzle cleaning, lens inspection, and assist with gas cylinder changes to ensure performance.
• Maintain high standards of precision and productivity to minimize downtime in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
• Accurately record material usage and machine activity for inventory tracking and production planning.

Your Impact

Our laser machine operators are driving the first critical step in fabricating remote power panels that keep data centers running. In this role, you convert steel into precision components that support reliable, continuous power distribution.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a machine operator is preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment
• Must be comfortable lifting heavy material and working with your hands
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
• Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong desire to learn new things
• Experience with Salvagnini machines is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Employees must be able to talk, hear, and frequently sit, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Vision requirements include close and color vision and focus adjustment.
