Olympic Steel is seeking a Kinetic Operator in the United States to set up and operate the Kinetic machine, bending, forming, or straightening material per work orders and customer specs. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and meeting delivery requirements.

Candidate should have at least 2 years of machine operating experience, basic crane operation knowledge, and strong measurement/quality inspection skills to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operating experience.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Skilled at measuring machined features using a variety of measuring instruments
• Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Kinetic Operator satisfies customer requirements of quality, quantity, and delivery in a safe manner while maximizing productivity. The Kinetic Operator sets up and/or operates the Kinetic machine to bend, form, or straighten material as specified by work order and customer requirements.
