Job Summary:

The CMFB/FBC operator is a skilled position involving CNC and vision systems. The operator is responsible for setup, minor mechanical adjustments, and operation of equipment in their assigned area, ensuring adherence to processes for quality production.

The operator assists the Manager, Supervisor, and Shift Lead with production setup and monitoring to meet daily KPI targets.

Job Duties:

1. Verify setup and correct machine parameters at the start of the shift, making adjustments as needed.
2. Open and modify vision and CNC files required for production.
3. Adjust machine parameters as necessary.
4. Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with the Machine Lead.
5. Perform regular and preventative maintenance and safety checks.
6. Conduct quality audits and checks on output.
7. Manage stock of consumables and maintain activity logs.
8. Report progress to supervisors/lead hands.
9. Operate machines as needed.

Accountabilities:

1. Report to and follow directions from the Shift Lead/Supervisor.
2. Assist in machine setup for quality production.
3. Conduct quality tests and calibration inspections.
4. Ensure the quality of finished work and correct use of vision and CNC files.
5. Maintain safety and environmental standards.

Job Specifications:

• Exposure to shop noise, ability to lift up to 40 lbs., and operate machinery.
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to work in high-speed environments and adhere to security standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3-5 years in manufacturing, CNC experience preferred.
• Proficiency with equipment, good attendance, and ability to understand work instructions.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and focus on quality.
• Basic computer skills and safety awareness.
