Job summary

Parker HVAC Filtration Division is seeking a Machine Operator II to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, ensure labeling accuracy, and perform quality duties. You will support preventive maintenance, material handling, and production reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading production orders, basic math, and the ability to communicate in English. A safety-conscious mindset and adherence to 5S are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with 5S housekeeping and workplace organization.

Responsibilities

  • Read production orders to verify quality standards for quantities and labeling.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and assist with first piece inspection.
  • Make machine adjustments to meet specifications.
  • Order raw materials as needed.
  • Load materials efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Count and record rejected products and scrap material.
  • Keep work area clean and compliant with 5S markings.
  • Clean machine and work area at end of shift.
  • Ensure staff follow plant safety guidelines.
  • Complete production reports.

Position Summary

The Machine Operator ll role is responsible for intermediate machine operation, troubleshooting and changeovers requiring some tools. Read production orders to verify quality standards for quantities and labeling. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, first piece Inspection and other quality duties as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Alert Supervisor and maintenance personnel of any problems that may arise.
  • Make machine adjustments as necessary to produce products that meet company specifications.
  • Order raw materials.
  • Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited.
  • Count and record rejected products and scrap material.
  • Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings.
  • Clean machine and work area at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines.
  • Complete production reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience Requirements
  • HS Degree or GED
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Intermediate troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Must be able to pass a tape measure test
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
  • May be required to lift up to approximately 40 pounds
  • Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time
  • Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
  • Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions
