Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of experience operating machinery in a production environment required.
• 2-4 years’ experience working in a production environment required.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform preproduction daily maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Review production schedule to assure production materials are loaded to maintain production efficiencies; identify material being machined.
• Fill out required daily production and maintenance reports.
• Visually inspect production material for defects or damage and report and document any findings.
• Maintain adequate supplies for efficient production and coordinate with Supervisor when materials are needed.
• Always adhere to safety standards and report issues concerning safety, quality, and productivity immediately.
• Understand company safety and quality policies.
• Assist with plant and yard activities as needed and requested.
• All other duties as assigned.
