Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Machine Operator II to set up and operate production equipment in our manufacturing environment. This role works under a Lead Operator or technician and performs semi-routine machine setups and product verification, while ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will follow process sheets and instructions, monitor operations, record data, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, machining, electronics, or a related field preferred.
• Typically requires 2 to 4 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and operation of assigned production equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Complete semi-routine equipment setups; complex setups, fixtures, tooling changes, and process adjustments are performed by higher-level personnel.
• Follow process sheets, routers, manufacturing instructions, and verbal or written direction from supervisors or leads.
• Operate production equipment and computer-controlled machine consoles.
• Monitor machine operation and make routine adjustments as authorized to maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Use basic measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify product conformance.
• Record production information, inspection results, and process data as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with training and cross-functional activities as needed.

Education
