Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or related field
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed data.
• Calculate and set controls to supervise machine and enter commands to edit program to achieve production goals.
• Confirm accuracy of first setups regarding size, build, forming sequence, etc., using test pieces and production pieces.
• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to resolve dimensions and tolerances.
• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust controls as required.
• Troubleshoot problems to maintain production/quality goals with minimal attrition to equipment.
• Use SAP system to enter and track production data.
• Measure, count, coordinate materials and parts to monitor production quality.
• Clean scale or scrap from die to achieve quality.
• Grind burrs and sharp edges to achieve quality
