What you’ll do:

• Inspect and perform general upkeep of the assigned lift truck.
• Complete daily inspection reports for maintenance and safety.
• Change batteries and clean the lift truck as needed.
• Pull correct scrap foam material according to the product being produced.
• Place proper materials on the conveyor based on the production schedule and process flow.
• Maintain adequate materials at the workstation to ensure smooth flow through the process.
• Operate granulator equipment and monitor the process to prevent contamination.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Serve as a member of the Plant Emergency Response Team.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you have:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience operating a lift truck preferred.
• One year of related experience in a production environment.
• Ability to maintain acceptable attendance in accordance with company guidelines.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures.
• Able to sit, stand, reach, bend, climb, and twist without restrictions.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• High mental and visual attention to perform tasks safely.
