Machine Operator II - CBU 1st Shift (Finance)

Position Summary:

The Machine Operator II is responsible for operating various pieces of equipment within the department based on manufacturing needs. Cross-training and rotating jobs and equipment is preferred to enhance operational flexibility. Equipment may include EMK, HAAS, Trumph, Chiron, Granco Clark Saw, and Amada.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Participate in problem solving and suggest ideas for continuous improvement.
2. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
3. Attend safety meetings and training sessions.
4. Promote safety by wearing proper PPE and reporting injuries immediately.
5. Cooperate with colleagues and supervisors.
6. Develop and maintain productive relationships within and outside the department.
7. Assist coworkers in learning their tasks.
8. Keep the work area clean and organized.
9. Manage component parts, including accounting for use, scrap, rework, and proper storage.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Internal Candidates:

1. Successfully completed the 90-Day probationary period with good attendance.
2. Maintain a good work record without current probation or warnings.
3. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, prints, and routers.
4. Understand quality requirements and monitor production.
5. Basic math skills.
