Job summary

Schwan's is hiring a full-time production associate at our Kentucky plant. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential for the 6 p.m.–6 a.m. period, and overtime opportunities may arise.

You will set up equipment, manage line speeds, perform quality checks, and complete SAP/SOP paperwork to maintain safety and efficiency. We offer weekly Friday pay, up to 2 weeks of paid time off in the first year, 7 holidays and 2 personal days, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to overtime or weekends based on plant scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Control line speeds, batch formula production rates, and starting/stopping equipment.
• Perform quality checks and ensure product safety and integrity.
• Complete required paperwork (downtime, HACCP) per SAP SOPs.

What You Will Do:

• Setting up and pre-running the equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Controlling line speeds, batch formula production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product elegance and safety.
• Responsible for various quality checks.
• Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP SOP's Safety operation training as appropriate).

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. - bending, carrying, pushing, pulling and other activities as
  needed.
• Ability to stand/walk on concrete and work in cold and/or hot temperatures, and
  be available for overtime or weekends based on plant scheduling needs.
