Job summary

Schwan's is hiring for a full-time manufacturing role on the 2nd shift (D Crew: every other Wednesday through Saturday) from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. You will set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper start-up, monitor line speeds and batch rates, and maintain product quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to work in cold/hot environments are expected, with overtime or weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; stand on concrete and work in cold/hot environments; overtime/weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Control line speeds, batch production rates, start/stop equipment and ensure product quality and safety.
• Perform quality checks and complete required paperwork (downtime, HACCP, etc.).
• Complete SAP SOPs and Safety operation training documentation as appropriate.

Starting Pay: $20.50 per hour
Additional $2.00 shift differential from 3 p.m. -- 6 a.m.
Shift: 2nd - D Crew (every other Wednesday through Saturday)

What You Will Do:

• Setting up and pre-running the equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Controlling line speeds, batch formula production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product elegance and safety.
• Responsible for various quality checks.
• Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP SOP's Safety operation training as appropriate).

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. - bending, carrying, pushing, pulling and other activities as
  needed.
• Ability to stand/walk on concrete and work in cold and/or hot temperatures, and
  be available for overtime or weekends based on plant scheduling needs.
