Responsibilities

  • Operate basic machinery proficiently at a defined rate with proper quality.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and their impact on the business.
  • Continuously learn the principles, practices, and processes of the job as changes occur.
  • Handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.
  • Communicate hazards and equipment issues with leadership.
  • Occasionally provide basic training to employees.
  • Cross-train in different areas within the department and adapt to different stations as needed.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work in a team environment professionally.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Use applicable hand tools with precision.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, manipulate objects or controls, stand, and walk. May need to stoop, bend, or reach above shoulders. Occasionally lift 25-50 pounds. Job involves computer-based work requiring sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment. Occasional travel may be required.
