Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator

The Machine Operator will operate assigned machinery to meet production and quality standards. This hands-on role involves clearing jams, minor mechanical repairs (lockout/tagout trained), and supporting overall manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

1. Material handling, including filling hoppers and related tasks.
2. Operate machinery with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
3. Assist technicians with preventive maintenance.
4. Identify and communicate machine issues to Line Technicians.
5. Complete all required paperwork accurately, including Oracle transactions and quality audits.
6. Train colleagues on machine operations and assembler roles as needed.
7. Support on-line/packing and other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.

Qualifications

1. Basic computer skills and paperwork certification if required.
2. Machine-specific training as needed.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Ability to read and interpret machine faults via Human Machine Interface units.
5. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to delegate tasks.
6. Capable of multitasking and training others on machine operation.
