Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
• Ability to pass the basic assessment test and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently operate and maintain basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and how they impact the business.
• Continuously learn job principles, practices, and processes as changes require.
• Safely handle materials using proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.
• Understand machine guarding and safe operation of machinery.
• Report hazards and/or equipment issues to leadership.
• May provide basic training to employees as needed.
• Cross-train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.
