What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
  • Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating schedule, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Clean criminal background and drug screening.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety.
Essential Functions:
  1. Follow all safety rules and regulations, including lockout/tagout and conveyor safety procedures.
  2. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  3. Perform daily safety inspections on equipment.
  4. Receive instructions from management and utilize production schedules and reports.
  5. Verify dimensions and meet customer requirements, including completing non-conforming material reports when necessary.
  6. Operate cranes and machinery carefully to avoid damage, using appropriate lifting devices.
  7. Take ownership of parts during processing.
  8. Set up and operate machines, selecting and changing tooling as needed.
  9. Perform specific operations on saws, lathes, mills, and other equipment, adjusting speeds and feeds for optimal performance.
  10. Ensure safety guards and coolant systems are properly maintained and operational.
  11. Procure and prepare samples for testing, including tensile, impact, and hardness tests.
  12. Perform final inspections and dimensional checks, and document data accurately.
  13. Maintain proper identification of materials and enter all data into the system.
  14. Manage chip evacuation and maintain cleanliness to prevent equipment issues.
  15. Transport parts efficiently within the work area.
  16. Ensure supplies and tooling are stocked and equipment is lubricated and maintained.
  17. Report equipment issues and safety hazards promptly.
  18. Comply with ISO 9001 and other quality standards, including testing procedures as required.
