Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Madison, GA is seeking a Machine Operator I to load recipes and follow centerline setups for furnaces, fabricating products to engineering drawings. You’ll use grinders, drills, saws, and bending machines, performing basic preventative maintenance and ensuring quality per BOMs.

This role requires 1–2 years of production experience, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to read tapes and measurements.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of production machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools.
• Basic math and algebra skills; able to work with fractions/decimals.

Mansioni

• Load recipes and follow centerline setups.
• Fabricate assemblies/parts per engineering documents and BOMs.
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging processes.
• Review finished work for accuracy against drawings.
• Diagnose issues and suggest improvements to supervisor.
• Operate and maintain tools safely; reject defective parts.
• Participate in cross-training and team meetings.
