Job Title: Machine Operator I

Location: Richmond, VA P 2 location - 2nd shift

Role Overview: Responsible for fabricating products using proper tools and machinery, including hoists, slings, grinders, drills, presses, punches, saws, and bending machines. Excludes CNC equipment setup and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate assemblies/parts per engineering documents and standards.
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides.
• Review finished assemblies for accuracy.
• Report and resolve fabrication issues.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of production machine operator experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read tape measures and understand fractions and decimals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
